FAQ

How do I contact Flint support?

Email support@getflint.work and Chris (the founder) will reply personally, usually within one UK working day. There is no ticket system, no outsourced call centre, and no bot gatekeeper.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in → Settings → Billing → Manage billing. That opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel with one click. You keep access until the end of the current billing period and your data stays put in case you come back.

Can I get a refund?

If you subscribed by mistake or something is genuinely broken, email support@getflint.work within 14 days of the charge and we will work it out. Our full refund policy is in the Terms of Service.

Will you send my CV to recruiters?

No. Your CV stays on Flint. We do not send it to recruiters, share it with employers, put it on a job board, or sell your data. Nobody is going to cold-call or email you because of it. The CV is used only to build your profile and score jobs against it, and you can delete it any time from the profile page. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

Does Flint auto-apply to jobs for me?

No, and we deliberately never will. Auto-apply tools (Sonara, AIApply's auto-submit tier, JobRight's "Agent") have a spam reputation for a reason: they send generic applications to roles you would not have picked, recruiters blocklist the pattern, and ATS two-factor-auth breaks the flow mid-submit. Flint does the scoring work so you can make a fast, considered decision about which jobs to apply to yourself. Cover letter generation and CV review are on Pro and Concierge if you want to cut the writing time down without cutting the judgement out.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in → Profile → Delete account. That wipes your user record, CV, profile, scored matches, pipeline state, saved searches, and alerts. Billing history stays with Stripe for legal reasons but is unlinked from Flint.

Why did the job I just applied to disappear from my list?

"Mark Applied" moves the job into your Pipeline tab. It no longer shows in the default jobs list so it stops drowning new matches. You can always find it under Pipeline.

A job is showing the wrong score / stale badge / missing salary. What now?

Scoring drifts when the job description is thin or the source had bad data. Forward the job URL to support@getflint.work and we will look at the extraction. If a signal is consistently wrong for your profile, it is usually fixable on the scoring side within a day.

I am not getting the weekly digest email.

Three common causes, check in order:
  1. The digest only sends on Tuesday 07:00 UTC. If you signed up mid-week you will get the next one.
  2. Check your preferences at Settings → Email. If you clicked an unsubscribe link it stays off until you toggle it back.
  3. Gmail sometimes routes the first email from a new sender to Promotions rather than Inbox. Search "from:weekly@getflint.work" and mark "Not promotions" to fix it.

I forgot my password.

Go to /forgot-password. The reset link is good for 30 minutes.
