Why I built this

Half the "junior data analyst" roles I clicked were courses in disguise.

Most of them I never should have opened. A "junior data analyst" advert that turned out to be a £3,000 bootcamp pitch. A "data analyst" title that was really data engineering, or finance ops in disguise. Four listings for what I'm fairly sure was the same job, run by four different agencies, each with the salary blanked out.

Does Flint match on my actual toolkit?

Yes. The parser reads the tools off your CV — SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, dbt, whatever you've shipped with — and the scorer weights role fit against them. A BI analyst isn't ranked against a data-engineering role that wants Spark and Scala just because both adverts say "data". Keyword presence isn't the same as fit, and we score for fit.

Does it cover remote and hybrid analyst roles?

Yes. Every role's work pattern is parsed and scored against the preference on your CV. If you want fully remote, the "remote, but three days in the office" roles drop down your list instead of cluttering the top of it. Hybrid-in-name-only gets caught.
