Why I built this

I applied to sixty engineering roles and heard back from three.

Most of the sixty I never should have opened. A "Go backend" role that turned out to want five years of Salesforce Apex. Senior titles paying junior money. Four listings for what I'm fairly sure was the same job, run by four different agencies, each with the salary blanked out.

Does Flint match on my actual tech stack?

Yes. The parser reads the languages, frameworks, and tools off your CV — Go, Postgres, React, Terraform, whatever you've shipped with — and the scorer weights role fit against them. A Go backend engineer isn't ranked against a PHP agency role just because both adverts say "engineer". Keyword presence isn't the same as fit, and we score for fit.

Does it cover remote and hybrid developer roles?

Yes. Every role's work pattern is parsed and scored against the preference on your CV. If you want fully remote, the "remote, but three days in the office" roles drop down your list instead of cluttering the top of it. Hybrid-in-name-only gets caught.

Which job boards do you pull software jobs from?

Is this just for senior engineers, or grads and juniors too?

Both. The scorer reads your seniority from your CV and ranks against it. A graduate sees junior and entry roles first; a staff engineer sees senior and lead roles, not grad schemes. We also block the bootcamp-bait listings that dress a paid course up as a junior developer opening, which hit early-career applicants hardest.
